GENERAL MANAGER, ORDNANCE FACTORY DEHUROAD, PUNE, invites applications for engagement as apprentices in accordance with the provisions contained in the Apprentices Act 1961 (amended in 1973, 2014 & 2019) for providing practical training to fresh Engineering Graduates & Technician in Chemical Engineering, mechanical Engineering. Electrical Engineering, Information Technology & General Stream Graduates for a period of one year during 2022-2023 as per details given below:

Ordnance Factory Apprentice Recruitment 2022 Eligibility

Technician Apprentice : Diploma in Engineering / Technology from Board of Technical Education of a State.

Graduate Apprentice : Degree in Engineering / Technology or Degree in General Streams from a Recognized University. General Streams : Degree in Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Computer Applications, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Hotel Management, Bachelor of Fashion Designing, Bachelor of Management Science, Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), Bachelor of Event Management (BEM), Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication, Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Business Studies, Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management, Bachelor of Design and Bachelor of Performing Arts.

Rate of Stipend

Technician Apprentice : Rs. 8000/- Per Month Graduate Apprentice : Rs. 9000/- Per Month

Ordnance Factory Apprentice Selection Process 2022

Selection will be based on the merit list prepared on marks obtained in the Final Year examination i.e. CGPA percentage for Engineering Graduate Technician and clearing the Medical Examination. Only Fresh Pass Out students are eligible for Apprenticeship Training. Engineering Graduates holders who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after attaining the essential qualifications shall NOT be eligible for being engaged as an apprentice under the act. If the gap between the date of declaration of result and date of commencement of training is more than one year, an affidavit in the prescribed format has to be submitted by the apprentices confirming the following: That after passing the above said examination: a) He / She did not have training or job experience for one year or more b) He / She did not undergo Apprenticeship Training at any place under the Apprentices Act 1961.
